(Nashville, TN - July 01, 2008) The Charlie Daniels Band played a make-up show Sunday afternoon in Manhattan, Kansas at the Country Stampede festival. The CDB was joined by special guest Rodney Atkins, who performed during the Sunday evening show.

Charlie was originally scheduled to play the festival Thursday night, but had to reschedule the show for Sunday, June 29 due to thunderstorms. Audiences were rewarded for their wait when Rodney Atkins took the stage with the American legend and performed Daniels' classic hit "Long Haired Country Boy." Later, Charlie invited Rodney to return to the stage for "Amazing Grace."
