Lawyers

There is a major movement by caring people to have all 50 states adopt "Jessica's Law," named after young Jessica Lunsford who was brutally raped and murdered in Florida by a lowlife who should have been taken off the street a long time ago.

The law mandates serious, mandatory prison sentences for child rapists, and would go a long way in getting a lot of perverts off the street for a long period of time, in essence protecting innocent children from child predators who serve little or no time and are turned back out on the street to ruin more lives.

James Fagan, a trial lawyer who just happens to be a state representative, stood up on the floor of the Massachusetts legislature and made a statement to the effect that if a child rape victim came in front of him testifying against a client he was defending he would, "rip them apart", ruin the rest of their lives, make them vomit at age eight, become twelve year-old insomniacs and make them suffer nightmares and ruined relationships for the rest of their lives.

What kind of a slop bucket would let words this foul come out of his mouth, much less a state representative?

This is a threat from a grown man against a child who would have suffered a horrible life altering experience at the hands of whatever scumbag he would be defending and this pus ball. It would take away whatever dignity and sanity the poor child would have left just for the sake of making money and in the process attempt to turn a demented child predator back out on the streets.

Is this what American justice has come to? Is this what the American Bar Association has sunk to, to have members who would knowingly and maliciously destroy a child just to fatten his bank account?

I've thought about it and I simply cannot come up with the words to articulate my contempt for such a scum sucking bottom feeder as this. He, and those like him, are truly the dregs of the gene pool. Is this what law professors are teaching their students now, to make absolutely no allowances for the age and innocence of a child who has done nothing wrong and yet has to submit to the unmitigated cruelty of a filthy monster who is intent on nothing more than bringing as much pain and confusion to the victim as possible? Not the rapist, but the victim.

I happen to know some good and decent people who are lawyers but this pervert protecting, money-hogging piece of scrap is an example of why there is so little respect for lawyers in this country.

The heck with justice. The heck with what's right. The heck with totally ruining the life of an innocent child. I'll just defend any piece of trash who has the money to hire me.

Does jurisprudence have a heart or not? Is there not some way a six year-old rape victim can testify without being raked over the coals by a heartless, fire-breathing, disgusting glob of protoplasm who admittedly cares nothing for truth or justice but only that he gets a criminal off for committing the world's dirtiest crime.

Mr. Fagan, when you look in the mirror in the morning, you are looking at a man who will one day be on trial himself, and you're going to face up to the harm you do to innocent children and the judge will not be wearing a black robe and will not be bound by laws of the state of Massachusetts.

Think about it.
